The aim of the Government to reduce the use of carbon footprint and make awareness of the Green Energy specially in terms of Solar Energy in India. The Governing Council of Solar Energy Society of India [Indian section of International Solar Energy Society] wishes to establish the Regional Chapter, State Chapter & Local Chapter in different cities of the country at the premises of Central/ State Government Organisation, University, Academic Institution, Corporate House and Industries providing the infrastructural supports.

Five (5) Regional Chapter can be established in the country as per jurisdiction; namely
Northern Regional Chapter
Southern Regional Chapter
Eastern Regional Chapter
Western Regional Chapter
Central Regional Chapter

The state chapter can be established in the capital of the concern state across the country.
|
Local chapter can be established across all the cities of the country.

Strength of the Life Member SESI on the date of application for approval should be 100.
|
Strength of Life Member SESI on the date of application for approval should be 50.

Strength of Life Member SESI on the date of application for approval should be 25.

On approval from the Governing Council [SESI], The chairman and Honorary Secretary may be elected of the respective Regional Chapter
|
On approval from the Governing Council [SESI], The chairman and Honorary Secretary may be elected of the respective State Chapter

On approval from the Governing Council [SESI], The chairman and Honorary Secretary may be elected of the respective Local Chapter
